Insulation grant funding comes from Utility companies such as NPower, Eon, Scottish Power, British Gas, EDF and Scottish and Southern Energy. The Government have set the utilities targets to reduce carbon emissions by 2011. Insulation installers complete the work and then invoice a utility company or their managing agent for the grant amount.

Customers can apply directly to a utility company who would put them in touch with one of their installers to carry out a survey. However, this process ties customers into one particular grant scheme operated by that utility company.

EnergyLink Ltd. was established to put customers in contact with reputable insulation installers who have access to several streams of grant funding. This means that the customer has access to more than one grant.

Installer Approval

Our installer approval process takes the following into account:

• Must have access to several grant funding streams.
• Must arrange a free no-obligation survey.
• Must have high standards of Quality.
• Must have high standards of Customer Care.
• Must have high standards of Health & Safety.

Our installers are constantly monitored to ensure they comply with the above. We also ensure they are members of the following trade bodies and organisations:

	The National Insulation Association The National Insulation Association represents the manufacturers and installers of Cavity Wall & Loft Insulation, Draught Proofing and other innovative solutions. Both the NIA and its members are fully committed to maintaining and raising standards within the industry.
	British Board of Agrement The BBA is the UK's major approval body for new construction products and installers. Agrement Certificates are recognised by specifiers and other industry decision-makers as proof that the products covered by them have been rigorously assessed, will allow compliance with Building Regulations and will last for a defined period.
	Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency The Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency provides independent 25 year guarantees for Cavity Wall Insulation fitted by registered installers in the UK. The installer applies for the guarantee after the work has been carried out and it is sent directly to the customer.
